Lyrically, the project tackles the disturbing, upsetting, and frustrating elements of singer Candy’s life - both present and
past. This, partnered with Sergi’s repetitive and effect-laden guitar playing, forms the basis of the Pretty Average's aesthetic. The two have enlisted the help of further musicians to flesh out the sound of their own style of brooding and noisy rock music.
